The Bad MAGA Boys and The Little Lady
Dear Ms. Liberty
It's only Thursday, and so far, we're ahead on the standard name-calling and verbal abuse from the MAGA boys as they "put this little lady in her place."
Al from Washington State: I posted an article about Sarah Palin from The Borowitz Report. If you're familiar with Andy Borowitz, you'll know that his articles are satirical in nature. Al lectured me about my post and how I needed to start "speaking in reality" and suggested I was making stuff up. I pointed out the following: it was evident that he was not familiar with Borowitz, didn't read the article, and that if we need to start "speaking in reality," why doesn't he correct all of the MAGA males' Q-Anon comments on the same Facebook page? He continued to tell me what my intentions were, how I should have put quotations in the introduction. I did, but it was my fault he didn't see the quotations. So, Al then accused me of taking credit for the Borowitz Report. Which I obviously couldn't, but it was my fault that Al didn't see the title of the article, and my fault that he didn't know how to use a link.
Then he informed me that I needed to do more productive things. Bottom line? Old Al wasn't going to admit he was wrong, and especially not admit it to a woman.
David from Washington State: called me a "stupid Demo-Rat bitch."
John O: When he cannot get himself out of the Q-Anon TikTok corner he got himself into, taking a cue from Marcia Blackburn (TN-R), he immediately changes the subject and asks over and over... "What is a woman? What is a woman?"
And the winner for the most offensive and disrespectful goes to...
Mike from the Oregon Border: He called me a "filthy c**t" and I "am a failed wanna-be writer," and I "better wise up (to MAGA rules), little girl or else."
To another Democrat woman who suggested Mike had "small hands," after dealing with one of his name-calling rants, he said, "If I stick my d**k in your butt, you have no one to blame but yourself."
The year is 2025. As a senior citizen, I have done my time being a second-class citizen. As a child in school, when the boys were wearing pants in the snow, other little girls and I had to get permission to wear pants in the snow (under our skirts) as our little legs turned red and felt like dead stumps. In junior high, we got on our knees while the patriarchy measured our skirt lengths. After all, we were responsible for the young pubescent male's "stiffy."
As a teenager working her first job, if I could earn $0.59 for every $1.00 my male counterpart was getting, I felt good. Hey, it was a job, right? I should be grateful to have a job. However, the wages didn't change significantly after the Equal Pay Act, as they later became $0.75, compared to $1.00 for my male counterpart. If the job was service-oriented, then I typically did more work, which the male considered "woman's work." And it's been no secret that women of my era have been insulted and not treated equally when it came to purchasing power and credit, we had to get permission from the head male in our family, whether it was our father or husband. There was an ownership aspect to this.
These inequalities of wages still affect women today when it comes time to collect on Social Security. The female senior citizen, especially the single woman, lives on less money a month than her male counterpart because she was paid less, therefore less was paid into Social Security.
The male MAGA wants you to know they are an Alpha, even though they are a Beta or "whiney-ass-titty-babies" as per Jennifer Welch of IHIP News. We watch men who have to remind us they are manly (or remind themselves), such as Jesse Watters of the Fox Network, who refuses to drink from a straw because it isn't "manly," and Senator Josh Hawley, who must read his authored book nightly named "Manhood."

The timid, the minorities, and people whose identity does not involve wearing MAGA on their chest are now MAGA's enemies. Drag queens and trans teens are now the enemies - these are small groups of people who just want to live their lives without harm or judgment. Women have always been the weak man's enemy, and especially women of color. This week alone, we saw the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, DC, go after two Black women's livelihoods, Letitia James and Lisa Cook, as part of his revenge tour.
My dear Ms. Liberty, I don't understand this kind of male specimen. They are nothing like the important men who were in my life: a maternal grandfather, born in 1897, who gifted his granddaughters hammers with handcrafted oak handles for their high school graduation. His own five daughters were taught how to drive (note that this was in the 1940s and 1950s, and not all women drove) and were encouraged to pursue jobs, careers, and further their education. As I grew up, I couldn't help but notice how he would spend time with each of his daughters, finding common interests regarding their jobs and hobbies. A father, who encouraged his daughter's independence and opinions, spoke to me about politics and what to look for in a candidate while explaining his absentee ballot to me as he cast his vote. There was no gender-based division of labor when it came to housework and yardwork, as he and Mom often worked together, even if it meant Dad ironing our little pink, frilly dresses to get us to Sunday school on time. A brother who raised fiercely independent, opinionated, and career-oriented daughters. There was also a husband who valued my opinions. He was also a great housemate, sharing duties, and we often worked on home improvement projects together. When I cooked a huge holiday meal, he was the first one in the kitchen to do the dishes. He thought it was ridiculous when he had to sign a document giving me permission to get my own savings account. One day, he brought home a newly released book called "The Art of the Deal." After I read the book, he asked my opinion. I thought the "author" sounded like a con man, and he agreed.
"Quite smug, little lady" - US House Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) loses his cool, berating New York Governor Kathy Hochul over immigration policies.

Not only do MAGA males not want the opinions of women, but they have also removed women's rights to healthcare. Only the male members of the Supreme Court and Congress seem to know what is best for women's uteruses. And just recently, MAGA has expressed the removal of the 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits states and the federal government from denying American women the right to vote.
Once again, in 2025, we find ourselves regressing instead of progressing in terms of women's equality and respect for our knowledge and opinions.
Thanks for listening to me.
Love ya,
C~
