The Island of Misfit Toys

In the words of the Broadway play, The Music Man, "Well, Ya got trouble, my friend, right here, I say, trouble right here in River City."

My Dear Ms. Liberty,

I wish to refer to the current admin as the Island of Misfit Toys, from the animated Christmas adventure, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," except that toys are meant to bring children happiness, even if they're missing a leg or a wheel. These players are missing integrity and humanity, replacing these qualities with hubris.
This morning, I read about the childhood of self-loathing Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, who, as a student, purposely left his trash on the school grounds, demanding that the custodians pick it up, especially the custodians of color.
There was also an article criticizing Brooke Rollins, Secretary of Agriculture, for suggesting that we all buy chickens to offset the costs of eggs. Sure, we already have clusters of pigeons all around our major cities, what's a few chickens? Now, Rollins claims that people on Medicaid can start working in the fields to make up for the loss of our migrant workers, whom her boss was only too eager to remove from our country or place in jail. How difficult was it for her to contact her complicit colleague, Dr. Oz at Medicaid, to provide her with the information that 64% of Medicaid recipients are employed workers? She also needs to be reminded that roughly one in four Medicaid enrollees are either seniors (age 65+) or people with disabilities. Will those on Medicaid who are forced to work the fields or slaughterhouses be able to bring their canes and wheelchairs?
Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security, made the headlines last night, and we all know about her shooting her puppy dead because it wouldn't obey. He was a puppy! We have to teach our puppies to obey. Currently, she is more worried about which of the three paintings of her cosplaying a cowgirl will be displayed in the South Dakota Capitol building than she is about being a few million dollars over the Homeland Security budget. Here's an idea: nothing says tone-deaf while wearing a big gold Rolex watch in front of several hundred prisoners in El Salvador. That would make the perfect portrait in the South Dakota Capitol. Did you know that in April, while she was dining at a restaurant, her purse was stolen, which contained $3,000 in cash? That doesn't make me feel too "secure."
Don't get me started on Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary. She makes Huckabee-Sanders look like Princess Diana. Leavitt is a pro at putting people down when they catch her in a lie. She spreads disinformation and claims she is transparent. Yeah, she is about as transparent as concrete. Thank goodness she has Joe Biden to blame everything on, from the current floods to the delivery boy messing up her sandwich order. And she does this all while wearing a cross on her decolletage. I'm waiting for the cross to start smoking while burning her skin.
One can tell when Pam Bondi, the DOJ, is fibbing, as her voice becomes shrill and the volume increases. She can't make up her mind whether she has a "truckload full of evidence" and "tens of thousands of videos" on Epstein, or whether she now suddenly has nothing. The job appears to be too big for her to handle, but fortunately, she has Stephen Miller helping her out.
Hegseth and Patel? Oh... I can't get into these toys. That's a whole different post. They're more like the dolls of Chucky and his Bride.

Love ya, C~
