Welcome to America!
The Happiest Place on Earth!
My Dear Ms. Liberty,
Here in America:
In the year 2025, the staff who assist in a program (LIHEAP) designed to help millions of poverty-stricken people keep their electricity on so children and the elderly do not die due to extreme elements have been fired. While there are still some funds to dispurse, there is no one available to go through the paperwork and pay the bills.
In 2025, Head Start, the preschool program known for teaching toddlers the ABCs and providing them with healthy meals, has experienced disruptions, is on shaky financial ground, and may be facing shutdowns. Funding for investigating child abuse, including internet crimes against children, missing children, and preventing youth violence, has been withdrawn. Billions of dollars earmarked for supervised educational childcare, child protective services, school security, and food services have either been delayed or blocked.
In 2025, the United States Department of Education is being shuttered and dismantled. This includes $3 billion that was earmarked for tutoring services for children in Maryland and for keeping the air and water safe for children in Flint, MI, has been withdrawn. The US Department of Agriculture has withdrawn $660 million in grants for farm-to-school programs, which have been providing fresh meat and produce to school cafeterias while supporting small farmers.
In 1961, the USAID (United States Agency for International Development) program, initiated by President John F. Kennedy, began to assist education, global health, environmental protection, and democratic governance in over 100 countries. In 2025, the current administration terminated over 80% of USAID's projects and placed the majority of the employees on administrative leave. With the loss of employees, food distribution was halted, and eventually, the current administration in the Oval Office destroyed close to 1 million pounds (500 tons) of food aid. These cuts may lead to more than 14 million deaths globally, including 4.5 million children under 5 by 2030.
In 2025, Medicaid, which serves children in greater numbers than any other age group, will be facing cuts. The legislature that makes the rules keeps telling us that the people on Medicaid are thieves and liars and commit fraud, so if they want Medicaid, they will need to work. Not counting the elderly and disabled, 64% of people on Medicaid are already working either full-time or part-time. The powers that have been arresting our migrant workers because of the color of their skin have slowly come to realize that the workers who feed America from the fields and slaughterhouses have either fled the country or are now sitting in jail.
Like hungry blood sucking vampires looking to take down a senior citizen center, the GOP/MAGA Congress is now looking into how they can screw with the elderly and make slashes to Medicare - a program primarily funded through a combination of payroll taxes, general revenues, and beneficiary premiums.
Tourism is down in America. No one wants to cross into our border to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. It is projected that towns considered "tourist hot spots" are in decline, with a total of over $12.5 billion in tourist dollars to be lost. There is also a loss of staff in the tourist industry, as kitchen and housekeeping staff have either left America or are now incarcerated.
The "Happiest Place on Earth" has recently designed concentration camps, with one in particular that is surrounded by alligator swamps in the Florida Everglades. The current Admin refers to this camp as Alligator Alcatraz and laughs at the prospect of alligators ripping into the flesh of those incarcerated. Every morning, the American population is faced with rants from the current admin via social media that if we pick on him, he might jail us. If we protest as per our First Amendment rights, we take the risk of being shot by our own military.
America's focus is now on what 30% of the population interprets as "The Golden Age of America," and they cheer this on with pride. Currently, I am having difficulty understanding that when Congress votes to cut funding for these medical, utility, and food programs that millions of young families and the elderly depend on, these members of Congress all cheer and give each other high-fives. And a majority of this 30% also claim they are good Christians, while in the meantime, Jesus seems to get in their way.
With Love,
C~
