So, What's New On Earth?

Dear Ms. Liberty, If my deceased parents returned to the living on Earth and asked, "What's new?" How in the hell would I explain it? As it was, I think my mother was suspicious that something wasn't right during his 45th term when, at her last Thanksgiving with us, she was sundowning. I asked her the traditional question around the table, "What are you thankful for?" She answered, "Someone needs to take a potshot at him."*

I had to remind her that would be considered her wish, and not a declaration of being thankful.

Just this week alone:

One of the largest banks in America closed 300 accounts belonging to the current occupant of the Oval Office due to suspicion of money laundering. Duh, if you ever read anything about him in the 1990s, there was often talk of him running money-laundering gigs, even from his gold towers, with his Russian tenants.

But let's ignore it. Let's ignore the billions his children are grifting. However, what about Hunter and the $2M that he made when his father wasn't in office?

A MAGA Representative in Congress has a few restraining orders against him, has been accused of domestic violence against his wife and young daughter, and has been carrying around a nude photo of his young daughter. He accuses his father-in-law, who is also in Congress, of using Grindr. This guy is defiant; he isn't leaving his office, and the Speaker of the House isn't asking him to leave. He is eager for camera time, but the more he talks, the more suspicion he attracts. The MAGA Congress seems unfazed.

Yet MAGA wagged their shame finger because the Democrats recently had a few scoundrels with unsavory sexual dalliances, but they were bid goodbye by their party.

In the meantime, the MAGA Senate has voted to hold Dr. Fauci (He holds 80% approval rating throughout America. The majority of Americans love him.) in contempt for using his Fifth Amendment during a hearing. Yet, they ignored the Trump spawn and others who used their Fifth, and have yet to do anything with Jim Jordan, who ignored his subpoena, while they threatened to jail Hillary Clinton if she ignored hers.

Critics want to jail Fauci for saving the majority of Americans during COVID, but they think that guy who looks like he uses bacon grease as suntan oil, eats roadkill, swims in sewage, and collects raccoon penises is just the picture of health, and they want to emulate him.

Oh, and earlier this morning I read that the U.S.–Israel–Iran conflict is the fault of Obama and Biden, and Trump is trying to clean up the mess they started. I had no clue Obama and Biden made the first strike in February 2026.
